How much UV light does Anolis carolinis really need? There is no way that natural sunlight is 10% UVB wavelength. Are there long-term effects on them if they have to much UV exposure? Surely this has to break DNA double bonds even in reptiles.

Does aquarium glass block 100% of UVA & UVB light?

HI, There's an outstanding website edited by Melissa Kaplan which may address some of your lighting concerns. The website is www.anapsid.org and the direct link to the lighting section is http://www.anapsid.org/catchthewave.html
This may or may not be what you were looking for but when I can't get a straight anwser anywhere else, I usually end up at her website. Hope this helps. =) Take care, Tom
