My 6-7 month male veiled chameleon is quite the healthy thing. But has what looks like a horn on his head, is that normal? Info: He eats the average amount, powdered crickets with jurassi cal calcium supplement. And crickets eat flukers food. His tank is glass and misted twice a day, i have a white day light goin, at 50 watts. And the red heating light goes on throughout the day when cold and on all night. (it's cold in the house). I haven't had a problem with him, he's always green with blue or yellow. He's alert and has a strong grip very healthy..and climbs and plays on the mesh screen at the top for i'm guessing exercise. But i've noticed he's had a white bump on the right side of his forehead, above his right eye. It looks like a horn, and a pimple at the same time haha. He doesn't seem to care for it but when i touch it he seems sensitive about it so i'm worried.. Help please!
It sounds like an absess of some sort. Any chance of a photo? They aren't completely unusual, but it is best to run your chameleon into the vet to have it removed. Heika
