Hi there, I just added a 1.5 year old male tort to my 4 year old female. The female will nip at the male and then leave him alone, however I imagine it has somewhat stressed out the male. I was wondering how long I should let this go on, if at all? How do you add new mates to established tortoise
Did you have the new tortoise vet checked and kept in quarantine for a couple of months? How much space are these two now sharing and is there sight breaks so they can at least think they're avoiding each other?
No to all, but it came from a store and has been there for over a yeas. I will try the sight breaks. Thanks very much
