Well our first ever clutch of anthills is pipping. Exciting stuff. It's amazing how small they are.

That is one cool snake! I always seem to hear about new snakes on this forum. A couple of questions:

    How are their temperments?
    What size tank?
What size mice and will they move up to rats?
    How big do they get?

I know I can google and did. But there are so many info sheets it is always better to ask IMHO a person who actually has experience with them.

Congrats and definately keep us posted with pics!

Thanks for all the replies. The anthills are the smallest python speciesin the world and will reach about 2' as adults. They are very docile and easy to handle. You could keep them in a 10 or 20 gallon enclosure. They will eat up to weanling or maybe even small adult mice. So far we have not switched any over to rats, but as far as size goes they could eat small rat fuzzies.
