Hey, Is anyone in Sarasota going to the show in Tampa this weekend? I had made plans to go but my ride just recently decided not to go. So now I'm stuck. Anyone happen to be going and would care for a companion?

I went today. Horrible weather driving there. It rained so hard I couldn't see! I saw some healthy looking beardies and some very dehydrated snakes. My friend bought a baby ball and her mom bought a hairless mouse and I bought a very cool snake t-shirt!
It was actually a very good show. Good to see the FIRS back in Tampa where it belongs. As usual for a Florida show, there were lots of Dragons, Ball Pythons and Colubrid snakes. But there was also some pretty cool things as well. I got an adult trio of Red Foot Tortoises from Ben Seigel Reptiles and (I swear!) the male bred one and one female laid eggs within hours of them getting to their new home. You couldn't even get through the entire show in 1 hour. There were seminars every 2 hours and lots of give-aways from Hagen.
I am glad you had a great time! After you have been to the Daytona show nothing compares. I could spend days there!
It was a good show. I was happy. I managed to go saturday and got a hairless rat that just gave birth. I'm happy for you Kev. Glad their breeding was so sucessful. Anyone know when and where the next show is?
