    Hello again :D
I am in the market for another ball python (or will be in a few months) and I was wondering what websites/dealers everyone recommends? I want to do my research on them before I commit to buying...
ALSO, as per my status update- what size/age/weight should a male BP start producing sperm plugs?
I eventually want to get a pastel female and a 100% het clown female for my two boys...
My smaller male, Axel is around 350g (approx 1.5 months ago), and Zaphod is around 550 g around 1.5 months ago... I will weigh them again tomorrow...
If anyone happens to be interested in breeding either of my boys (Axel is a 66% het clown normal, and Zaphod is a pastel) please PM me, I am open to breeding loans given the other person has a good reputation (I'm sure everyone here does though lol)
OKAY this was not supposed to be a breeding loan ad... whoops.

    If you want informational websites:
    http://www.worldofballpythons.com//

Some of the best video informationals are by Justin Kobylka and Ralph Davis on their youtube accounts, here are links to their actual websites...both are highly reputable breeders as well with awesome animals:
    http://www.jkobylkareptiles.com/

    http://www.ralphdavisreptiles.com/

And naturally, Tracy and Dave Barker (VPI) have been in the hobby longer than just about anyone:
    http://vpi.com

We also have a member on here who is incredibly knowledgeable in ball pythons, WingedWolf. I know she breeds and has some gorgeous animals for sale from time to time. Here website is:

There are a lot of reputable breeders who utilize classifieds rather than actual websites to sell as well; I received Luna in a trade with Jerry Robertson (snakesRkewl) who frequents a couple of online classifieds and forums for example.

There are many more out there...and remember to ask the breeder questions before you buy! I've turned down purchases if the breeder seems to be unknowledgeable, a jerk, or doesn't want to spend time tending to questions about the animal they have for sale. A good breeder will happily answer any question you have, and should be glad that their animal is going to a good home with someone who cares enough to ask about their well-being.

I tended to your question about the sperm plugs in your Status Uptate = )
