I believe it is up to you. I have clipped Louie's nails (with a standard finger nail clipper). He is much easer to handle. But, be very careful since your beardie's grip will be significantly reduced and this could result in a fall injury. Also, I was told to only clip the very end (white portion) to reduce the risk of injuring the nail bed.
