So Rex has been keeping his left eye shut for most of the day, and it's been about three days since this started. I have done a bunch of research, and I have come up with a theory but I want to run it by you guys before I do anything. I think he may have Photo-kerato-conjunctavitus because I don't see any small particles or anything in his eyes, and he opens it too eat and when I pick him up. Also, it is in the eye that he normally looks up at me with so it probably gets more direct light from the UVB lamp. All of the sites I have looked at say that it can be cured by just shutting off the UVB until it clears up, but how long can he go without UVB before it starts to affect his health? I should probably mention that he has a Powersun 100w mercury vapor bulb that's about 5 months old. So what do you guys think? I don't have the time to put up pics right now, but I will try to post some tomorrow.
