    Hi all;

    We've got a tank with 3 red ears in it.

    We are looking for a solution to wash the walls of the tank to effectivly remove all that white mineral buildup. Preferablly if there is something that we can use whilst the turtles still in the tank :(

    If that's a no go then we would be looking for a biologially safe cleaner.

    Nothing like Ajax or CLR.

    Cheers,

    Gary

    vinegar seems to work well, and is completely safe. if there is a little left over, it will lower the pH a little, but if you rinse good, that should not be a problem

    You can get those deposit off with an algae scrapers (w/ the metal blade). Just make sure that the glass is wet and you can scrape it right off. No chemicals needed.
