Black roughneck monitor

    This is my roughneck monitor I got him in february when he was 8in now he is about 20in

    You have a great looking monitor there and an impressive growth rate, you must be doing something right :D
    The tank looks good as well, can you post a full view of it.

    nice monitor! how aggresive is a roughneck because i wanted a sav but heard they bite alot.

    Thanks I don't have pic of the enclosure but I will take some tonight.He is currently in a 75 gallon tank that is completely covered to keep the heat and humidity in. He has already outgrown it and this weekend I Will be moving him to a bigger enclosure witch will be 44x43x84

    No he is not aggressive I don't believe any monitor is aggressive just defensive I don't force Handel because all it dose is stress them out I like to build a trust though food and that way they have no reason to fear me.I also have a nile monitor that I have had since September that is now 40in and he just started taking food from tongs and I would not call him aggressive
