I have a Small b&w Colunbian Tegu and I would like to build a outdoor enclosure i live in west central florida can someone please help me? I have a poll to see if i should build one outside or inside.
Hello, the only problem i see with building the outdoor enclosures is the possibility of temp fluctuations. If you can accomplish it, and have sufficient hiding spots which stay cool so your tegu can cool off if he wants to, then go for it. I wouldn't keep him outside all year round though, as the weather is too much of a risk factor. By all means have an enclosure outside too, but have a main one indoors aswell.
As of now he is in a 55 gallon with 1 150 watt a 60 watt infared and 2 60 watt basking. I kno that this is probably to much so only have infared and 150 basking on. He is 13 inches long anyone have any plans on how to build a 4x8x4 cage for him let me kno please. Thank you
