I'm not quite sure if this is the right place to put this,However I'm curious as to what is involved in the captive farming method of breeding reptiles.Is it as commerical as it sounds?What are the conditions the animals are kept in like????
I am no expert but it doesnt sound too good. I am guessing they have a bunch of them in small tanks and some to breed, they all get fed on a schedule somehow and I am guessing it is basically like a fish farm
it really depends on the species. which species are you talking about? Boas? they arent farmed.. the gravid females are collected and held until they give birth.. then the females are returned. same with ball pythons in Africa.
