So I'm setting up my (hopefully)future crested gecko tank. I have some of the fake plants and I want to attach them to the walls of the tank. I didn't think glue or tape would be safe(duh) and I was wondering what I would use to attach them to the side of the tank with.

Silicone :) Aquarium grade - 100% silicone :) Just make sure you air out the tank for a couple days (at least 3) before you put anything in it.

Don't use caulk or any bathroom silicones!!! They out-gas chemicals when they get wet to inhibit mold and mildew.
