I recently got some mealies for my gecko since my petstore was out of juvi crickets. Luckily hampster ate them up with no problem, and seemed to enjoy them. Since I prefur to use crickets for feeding over mealies, could I just sprinkle some of the cricketfood from www.cricketfood.com on the mealie bedding and use that to give the mealies thier gutload? They just came in a plastic jar with some unknown sawdusty looking bedding.

Since I only plan on using mealies in emergency situations I don't want to get bedding or anything for them, but I want to make sure they atleast have some good nutritional value to them.

Yeah, the gutload from cricketfood.com would be fine to gutload your mealies. I suggest replacing the sawdust completely with the gutload, not just sprinkling a little on top.
