i did check out htat site earlier and printed the info. but i'm thinking about trying the sealer. i'm just worried that in either case my leos will lick the sealer or paste and bad things will happen.
I don't know about the sealer but the Tile-glue paste get's really really dry and hard. There's no problem for your leo's. If you do 3/5 layers of the paste then it's also waterproof. And if you don't like the collor you can paint it afterwise with waterbased paint and that's no problem either... Grtz Keno.
what color does it dry? becasue i was thinking about adding sand to the sealer to make it rough and appear a lil more natural
I think you have different collors in the Tile-glue paste (and maybe also with the 'sealer'), but the most used is a bit grey/brown. You also can ad 'collor pigments' to the paste (I did this with the terrarium of the Collared lizard). That's a good idea, I did it with both of my terra's. Grtz Keno.
i think that i'm going to try the grout and sealer. the only sealer i found was in a spray can, but i'm still going to try it. put the sealer on then while still wet put the sand on top. the grout i chose is a gray color to match the slate tiles on the bottom. i'll post pics whenever i'm done itll be a week or 2 at least. i wanna take my time and do it right.
the only sealant i could find is in a spray can. i didnt want a shiny look, but i think that it will have a shiny look. we'll see though. the can is yellow with a guy spraying tile floors and it has a foggy clear top. i'll post a pic if u need it, but i cant just this minute
The pictures are from people in Belgium and Holland. Here you can see my 2 cages: http://www.reptilerooms.com/forumtopic-17606.html These are not mine... Grtz Keno.
No, family: Iguanidae I'm not shure if the name is correct but it's literal translated from Dutch: 'Masked Iguana' Grtz Keno
