I guess you can say that I listen to rock/alternative. I will listen to almost anything, but I listen to Evanescence and Queen alot. (Don't watch a live concert with Freddy Mercury. Did that once and I'm not doing that again.)
i ahve a metal side in me; Rakoth manowar asmegin apocalyptica ajattara iron maiden tvangeste and lots of other sorts of that
I also like finger eleven, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Staind, The Offspring, Tool, APC, and so on.
Depends on my mood...Third Day is a favorite lately... I like a variety, mostly soft rock, country rock, contemporary Christian rock. Guess I like rock. But kinda mello, ya know? If I have lots of housework I put on more energetic stuff. This may age me, but my favorites as a late teen/young twenties were Iron Butterfly, Moody Blues, Fleetwood Mac, Cat Stevens, Beatles, Elton John, John Denver, Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins. The list could reaaly go forever...
Just curious as to what you meant by that? He was a fabulous perfomer! My 3 favorite bands are Alice In Chains, Tool, and Queen...all loved for different reasons. Jack off Jill is another favorite of mine. I haven't read this whole thread yet...anybody else into them? -Nicky
i like rap like the older eminem songs nd stuff like that but thers a cuple of rock bands that are ok. there is a band in my town called zmak. they live a few houses away from me nd they are pretty good
Yeah.....I was flipping channels and came across one of his performances. All he had on were these tight white shorts. That kinda turned me off. I haven't seen any of his other performences, and I only watched his show for maybe 10 minutes, but yeah - thats why I don't watch his performances. Sorry, I based my opinion on 10 minutes of one show.
That concert was probably "We Will Rock You"...1981 during his gay clone period...which I think was fabulous. He was always great no matter what he wore...lol. You might enjoy watching anything before the album Jazz, before he went through the leather phase and was very glam. Heh...I know entirely too much about Freddie Mercury and Queen. I've listened to them since I was very young...and they remain one of my favorites. Take it easy! -Nicky
Yeah most of their guitar riffs and the overal difference of how they make their songs makes them so interesting and fun to listen to. Havn't seen much of their live stuff except music videos so I wouldn't know about their preformances.
I saw an AIDS benifit concert hosted by the surviving members of Queen on TV. We Will Rock You was awesome.
