i am having trouble weining my darwin pythons from mice to rats they are 6ft and more than ready to eat rats. i got them about a month ago and the last owner only feed them mice. i have tried rubbing the guts of the mice all over the rat and the snake goes over it and leaves it alone. i have been doing this for weeks now to no provail. if anyone has ideas on how i can get them to eat rats i would be more than greatfull
    thankyou

try feeding them live if they are eating dead, vice versa. My king will only eat live. He nudges the mouse with his nose to make sure it moves before he attacks it.

I wish I knew more about Darwin Pythons.... I really havent ever heard of one. Do you have any pics?

Are you sure that you are getting the f/t prey warm enough?
Have you tried wiggling the rat and trying to make it look alive?
