Last night, just before midnight, Ryu lost his fight with Mother Nature. He fell alseep for the last time in his favourite bark hide, in his favourite position. This morning, we place him in a blue box with a ribbon that tied it close. We buried him this morning in the rain under an apple tree in our backyard. We said goodbye and to mark his eternal resting place, we placed his bark hide over top as a tombstone. Ryu fought 'til the end, just like the true dragon spirit warrior he was. Goodbye Ryu, you were only in our lives for a month, but you left a mark on our hearts that will last forever. RIP Ryu.
