So my leopard gecko is a little dude I got him on Saturday. He is a juvenile like maybe 4" long. I added a moist hide to his cage, which is a 10 Gallon tank, because he kind of started to look like he was going to shed. I don't have enough room to put the moist hide on the warm side of the tank where I have an UTH and I was wondering if he would get too cold in the moist hide at night when I turn his light off?

It should be fine, he will move to a new location if he gets too cold. Things get rather cold in their native lands at night, too. As long as it warms up during the day, the gecko will be fine and the moist hide will be able to serve its purpose (assuming the gecko chooses to use it).

Sweet thanks! I thought he would probably move out of it if he got too cold but I wasn't 100% sure.
