Just when things started looking up for my little Noodle, the struggle ends...

He was getting more and more alert, and was able to keep down 1-day pinkies. I was so excited for him, since we'd been struggling for MONTHS with his regurgitation...

But when I went in to check on him his morning, he was dead. He was active and cruising his tub last night when I did my final check, so it must have happened sometime overnight.

It has been a pretty rough morning for me, since I grew SO attached to him, and poured so much emotion and time into getting him on the path to health... but you can't win them all. We both did our best to fight whatever was ailing him, but he just didn't have the strength to beat it...

    Poor little guy...
