yay i got my 3 new green anoles. i named one Julio because thats what my name for spanish class is. i was going to name the females my friends spanish names but then i relized thata if they had sex then it would be nasty. one of the 3 the petstore gave me for free so that i could take care of it and nurse back to helath becuz it was so small and you could see like all the bones through the skin. well it was a dark brown when i got it but now its a cool green color. he is really happy
i think the little one will be ok nopw that here is here with me. hes been eating any pinhead that comes within a foot of him. although it does take him about 15 minutes to eat one. the others are really happy and eating. i had like 30 pin crix before yesterday. then i fed my 2 baby leos and the anoles and now my dad is out getting 60 pins becuz they're gone. also julio is starting to try and mate with the other healthy anole. looks like i'll be getting babies soon. well my friend wants 2 so i guess it's cool.
Be prepared for LOTS of babies. If you aren't ready to keep them or at least find homes for them, then I'd seperate the male and female ASAP. They store sperm and could be laying eggs for months. Your other option would be to not incubate the eggs, but then... why stress the female that way. Congrats on the new additions BTW.
Anoles kick major bajunk, sometimes even at the best pet stores like petsmart, you see the runts are dead or dying and it makes you sad, i might go on a rampage and buy all the sick ones lol and nurse em back like you said, i hate watching animals die -mike
i feel the exact same way. i think that they might start giving me the sick ones because i have proven to be a good owner.

ya so did i. funny in a nasty way. the runt is still getting better. i can't see his ribs through his skin anymore. so i think he'll make a comeback.
Raziel, I am sorry that your aft isn't doing well. I have been keeping up with your post about it, and hoping someone will give you some good news. I've got some terrible news.lthe little one passed on last night. when i found him this morning he was under his favorite perch and had regurgitated all his stomach contents. he looked like his last few minutes were happy ones though be cause he was so green. it was a bad night for my fish and turtle combo tank too. the power went out and the filters didn't work last night so when i went to feed them this morning i saw that bill and danny were dead. i hate thunder and the stupid power company.
