So I havea Green Iguana that's almost 7 months old, but hes pretty big for his age!! His claws are so sharp, making him pretty hard to handle since they always cut me up, and then every day re-opens old cuts from previous days with them. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to go about clipping his claws myself. I have the clippers for reptiles to do it, but I read somewhere that you have to avoid the little black line that goes down the middle and just cut after where the black line ends, since its a vein. The problem is that on his claws, the vein appears to go all the way to the very tip of it. All I want to do is just clip the very ends. Somebody please help??
