heating source question

    what is a good source of heat for my corn snake its a juvinile and its in a 10g for now,i know heat pad is a option but can a reguler light work like from the store?or does it have to be a certain color? some advice would really help!

    heat pads are the best since they give the belly heat corns need to propperly digest their food. An overheat light can work - any color, it doesnt matter. but make sure you are using a digital thermometer and measuring the temps on the floor of the tank, since that is where your snake is going to be spending his time.

    so the temps can be beetween 84 92

    For a corn you dont need a hot spot thats in the 90's...85-88 is good enough :)
