Hello all. This is Caesar. This is my first time having a lizard and from the research I did I came to the conclusion that the mali uromastyx was probably a good choice. I'm going to still be modifying the decorations and replacing the substrate with birdseed (cursed pet stores and their $17 bags of calci-sand), but how's everything look? Thanks
hey there! for a Uro your setup looks pretty nice, the only thing i would change is try to get that uvb closer to the basking site so he can absorb some of the uvb from the lamp & make sure the temps are good throughout. other than that he looks like a real sweetheart! and the enclosure is a nice size and looks roomy for you Uro Ceaser. btw do you have any books or care sheets for Uros? and what species is Ceaser? oh, one more thing, when you change to bird seed you might want to make substrate a little deeper, but still make sure the heavy rocks and wood are securely placed on the bottom so he doesn't dig under them and collaps it on top.
