Help in Southern NJ / Philadelphia region Hello, I have a large (6.5' / 40-50#) Ornate Nile Monitor that I would like to find a good home for. Please, do not reply if you are not serious or are not experienced dealing with an animal like this. He is healthy & friendly - FOR WHAT HE IS. I spent years socializing him & have not needed gloves or any special handling procedures for 5 / 6 years now(He is 10 or 11 yrs. old). He does seem to like me & is friendly towards me. But, much like a pit bull or any other animal like this - I would not trust him around anyone else. Again, please - I am only going to give him up if I know that he will be well taken care of - He is just not a family type of pet.
