can i use just a normal light bulb as in one u put up in your house if not which one im new too this so help is needed as i dont wont too kill them they are yellow belly turtles
Im not an expert in turtles but im pretty sure u cant because most turtles require UVB light. Inwitch you would have to buy a UVB for your turtle otherwise it will be at risk for alot of health problems.
Turtles must have the proper lighting. While a regular bulb will provide heat, it will not provide the proper uv lighting needed. There are many choices. I like the Powersun models. Just do a search on reptile basking light.
