    :?: Hey you guys!!

Got a question here. Do reptiles form complex emotional bonds with their owners/handlers?? Or are the bonds that they form based more on instincts and need {ie "I need food" or "I need to eliminate" or "I need to go for a swim" or "I'm tired and I want to go to sleep"}??? Asking here out of curiosity. Get back to us!! :) :?:

Unfortunately however much we think or want our little guys to know who we are and love us... it's probably all basic learned responses - for instance, when I come in to the room where my chahoua and gargoyles are they all come to the front of their cage and climb on the screen until I give them their daily spraying down. After I'm done they jump off the screen and go sit next to their food bowls until I feed them, lol.
Now the big thing is... do I have them trained or do they have me trained? Heh.
