i have had my green anole for some time now and he had been doing good until recently. when i go to check on him he's brown most of the time and he doesn't eat much anymore. when i got him he ate 2-3 mealworms every other day. now he eats one every once in a while. when i clean his cage he doesn't change brown though. and when i tried to get him out to clean the other day he showed his dewlap and tried to bite me. he's never done that before. can somebody help.

Does he look fat and do you spray him with water allot he could be dehidrated.

Has anything changed in or around his enclosure recently. Sometimes just moving the enclosure to a new location is enough to stress them out.

No problem. How long ago were all these moves? Just keep an eye on him in case it's something else... you never know. As long as he's still eating something and not brown all the time, it's probably just the moves. Let us know how he's doing.

all the time and the moves happened last week. we had to rip up carpet. he's do'n better and is only brown on his head and down his spine. i also think he was a little cold so we have a heating pad for him. i think it's helping.

good, you should try a heating lamp, they provide more heat. Try to keep him in one place and do not change things too much and i think he will be better
