one of my iggy's fingers were strangled in on its cage he was stucked there the whole day so then i helped him to remove them but it was cut from the last joint :lol: will it grow back?
As far as I know, its only the tail that regens. I have an iguana with 4 toes, so I'd say no. Do take care of it though, don't let it get infected.
To answer your question, No they dont grow back. Please have it checked out by a vet, as it was stuck there all day, it may have caused other damage to leg, it should be treated by vet anyway to stop any infection. Darklightangel Just for info iggies dont regen their tails either.
bruno I have two iguanas, both lost their tails and the tails have grown back. thats what i meant by regen.
