Our reptile rescue, Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary, just got some new arrivals in that need new homes. Check out the "reptiles immediately available for adoption" link at www.forgottenfriend.org

Today we have a ball python, red tail boa, and iguana. Who knows what we'll have next week, so keep checking back.

I am interested in the ball python, how long is it, and is it a good eater? I have a ball python, a redtail boa, and my 2nd B is arriving tuesday. I have had a total of 5 snakes, 3 lizards, and 11 turtles. I would be a good home.

I just read about it, so it is a good eater. Well, please let me know.

the ball is at a foster home right now, but should be coming into the rescue this week since we have a bunch of interest on him (or her). Get back to me in a few days and I'll be able to answer some questions better when she's at the rescue with me.

    I'll help...

I would take any or all of the snakes into my home. I have 14 snakes already, Looking for more to take care of. I would pay shipping. Thanks, Melissa.

stormy is right. a pet industry study recenty showed america owns over 2 million iguanas with about 500,000 being imported here annually. some numbers estimate as many as 1 million of those pet igs are unwanted so you should have no problem finding one in your area.

other good sites to check out for ig adoptions are:

www.greenigsociety.org (check their adoption listings there's a ton!)

www.forgottenfriend.org/forum (we always have a few listed from different states)

and possibly the best link is kingsnake.com's rescue locator where you can search for specific animal shelters by animal and by state:

    http://www.kingsnake.com/adoption.html

The igs are out there! You just have to know where to look.
