I've been feeding my corn 2 hoppers once a week since he's not big enough for adult mice yet so yesterday i put him in his feeding container and dropped in the hopper and he goes for it but he bit the part of his body that was next to the hopper instead of the hopper. he let go immediatly and then started to eat the mouse but i just want to make sure that he's ok and nothings worng with him.

yeh as justkev said it does happen,My corns have done this at least a handful of times in there lives and i just put it down to their poor sight and strong smell. If the prey's scent gets on to its body it may just trust its nose instead of common sense lol.But yeh it's nothing to worry about,But I know from experience the first time I saw mine do it I was like what the hell is going on?!!!!!!
