Bluebeast reptile has a pic of an ivy on thier safe plants pictures section. I had always thought this was on the toxic list. No scientific name is given, it must be different than hedera helix but it sure does look a lot like it.

    any ideas??

I saw that today, too. It is still there, they know their stuff. A lot of things that are technically toxic, are not practically toxic. The list contains all of this information about fruit seeds being toxic. They all contain cyanide and would be toxic to humans as well, if consumed in sufficient quantities. Almonds contain the most and are not even on the list. (Cyanide even smells like almonds.) It is not easy to consume enough of these seeds to obtain a toxic reaction. Maybe something similar is occurring with the Ivy... I propose that what may be toxic for one chameleon species, may not be toxic for another.
