Im just trying to find a list of veggies and fruits for a bearded dragon. Right now I feed my beardies collard greens, apples as a treat, and carrots as well. I want to expand on what I can feed them because I feel that they are getting bored of eating the same thing day in and day out. Thank you in advance for any information. =)
Hey Hayden, This should be EXACTLY what you are looking for ; ) http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html This website color codes a large list of salad items; categorizing them into staple, occasional, rare, etc feeding groups.
Thanks Jeff! I was literally just looking for that link the other day while I was at Whole Foods... we used to have it on reptilerooms.com.... wonder why the site isn't working
I need to get in touch with Kev again... the problem is Cheri owns ReptileRooms and her contact info is pretty ancient. I can try to get into touch with her as well and see if we can resolve things as the site should be have renewed for 2 years as of last January.
Freezing produce tends to degrade the nutritional value of the food item. Feeding a lot of frozen food long term can lead to a vitamin deficiency. I highly recommend opting for fresh produce.
