I think that a photo catalog with characteristics would be really cool in the info section. I think that it should be locked to prevent a lot of talking and stuff, leave this thread for that.

Opal was listed in the pet shop as a blazing blizzard but she isn't one because she doesn't have the red eyes that would classify her as that. So she is just a blizzard.

I really really love this thread and thank you so much for putting all of this together. It really helps ME out a lot trying to figure out what morph is what.

Hmm now for one of those obvious noob questions (hey you can use this when you put the traits with them for later)
What makes a difference between a baldie and a regular?
I have a Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail. He doesn't have a great head pattern like the normal one but his head certainly isn't as devoid as the baldie of the same.

Your on the right path, the difference is basicly if the gecko has spots on his head then its a super hypo carrottail (or super hypo tangerine carrottail) if the head is free of spots people say that they are "bald" So its called a super hypo carrottail baldie! (or tangerine again). Simple as that. People have different opinions on what makes a baldie, some say that if it has any spots at all then its not baldie, some argue that if it only has a certain number of spots then its still a baldie. ( many people argue over the carrottail trait too). Well I hope I didnt confuse you at all and answeared your questions!!

Chaotic, not to make things even more complicated, but you've done such a wonderful job... the thing that would make this PERFECT for noobs, is to also gather pictures of all these leos as babies. (i know some morphs look the same as babies, so maybe pictures from the point where they begin to look different) but since leos change soooo much from adult to baby, and alot of times people are like "i just bought this baby gecko, what morph is it?) *like me when i just bought my tang! haha* i think that would make this whole thing perfect... once you gathered all the pics then it could be put into one nice clean post, made sticky and locked  just my two cents...

I am still looking for some specific morphs, so if you have any of these following morphs, can you please PM me the picture, or post it on here, including the geckos name, and what you want me to put for the permission section. Thanks!!

    APTOR
    Reverse Stripe
    Tangerine Albino
    Eclipse
    Pastel
    New! because of popular demand!
I need baby pictures of any of the morphs above, excluding Snow and SHTCTB. All others I still need. Thanks in advance everyone!

Also if you have a leo that I have not included, please let me know. Thanks everyone for your help. Hope you enjoy!!

If anyone spots any mistakes in any of this, please let me know. I am by NO means claiming I’m an expert, nor to I claim to know all of the genetics, I’m just a person who thinks that this could help a lot of people here!

Hey, glad to see you around and I LOVE this thread. I just wanted to comment that I personally have always thought that Baby Boo was a Hypo Tangerine Carrottail. Maybe that's just me. :p

Also, I'm sure you're up to your ears in the SHTCT/SHCT/etc. I do have some pictures of Spikey though if you're interested in using them.

Hatchling picture: Because I've been told she looked more like a normal baby than a super hypo baby.

Also, do you think you plan on putting an "adolescent" picture in for each morph? I only ask because I notice that many users here buy geckos that are inbetween birth and adulthood. Maybe a middle picture would be useful for them?

Great idea. Would be nice if a mod could edit the first post to include all the new morph photo's that have been posted so you don't have to keep re posting all of them. Would keep it neat and tidy.

I really love some of these photos, but tbh I prefer some morphs over others as I guess everyone does. They all look healthy enough though which is fab. ;)
