Hello all, first let me say that I have learned quite a lot from reading this forum. You all have such a vast knowledge of Anoles! Better than anything I have seen on the internet! ;)

    Here is my question:

I have a 20 gal tall tank with 2 anoles (1m, 1F) or 1.1.0, I have an organic potting soil as my substraight (no Perilite). I have several jungle vines, and plants for them to climb on and hide in. So I think I am set there.
Where I have a question is in the brand or type of UVB light that I use. I originally got a "Repti-Go" (or GLow) 5.0 light which was too big for the hood that I have. So I went to the store and they did not have any 18 inch bulbs in that brand. Instead I got "Iguana light" 5.0 UVB, and it was almost double what I paid for the repti-glow. I wanted to know if there is a difference in what I bought? I believe the watts are the same in both. Basically, they are the "same" 15W 5.0 UVB, but I don't know if the Iguana light is OK to use with the Anoles? Or is it specifically made for use with Iguana's only. I can find nothing on the package that specifies this.

    Thanks for your help!

Welcome to rooms! I'd think that your light would be fine they both put out the same amount of UV.
