I thinking of purchasing a sub-adult mangrove and in the future i will breed it. Any info. on this species would really be appreciated.
i.e. basking temps? breeding tips? Cage furniture, more specifically: is a burrowing area required? and Do they require a high humidity?

Any accounts you have of these monitors would be great too. :D Thanks

all monitors need a basking spot of 120F - 150F i find that 120-130F works the best though. they need very high humidity, an overall temp of 85-90F. they do burrow and are very strong swimmers. cant help you with breeding, but for furniture anything that would help them feel secure. an adult will need a MINIMUM of 5'Lx3'Hx3'W but of course the bigger the better. adults can reach up to 5'long and although they arent arboreal, they are very good climbers. if you need any more help feel free to hit me up on AIM
