i was handling moe last night when i cleaned out the tank, and as he turned round to try and remove my fingers i noticed some dark marks inside the mouth are their mouths usually clean and pink all over?, ive never noticed this before, but then i dont spend alot of time staring into his mouth is this mouth rot? and if so what can be given to sort it? or is it just a case of a trip to the vets?
pearl has the same thing her mouth is all dark except her tounge which is all pink and the doc has her on neo-calclugon but i dont think its for the mouth.
No worries. I too noticed that when I got my tokays 2 years ago. It is nothing. A normal coloration of the inside of there mouth. Let your mind be at ease.
