My greenanoles have been trying to eat my plastic plants. Do the anoles eat any plant in the wild? if so what plant or what sould i put in there for them to eat.
Are they actually biting the plants or licking them? It is very normal for them to lick water droplets off plants (that's how they drink), but they do not eat plants real or plastic.
i dont know what to do they are trashing the place. They pull the leaf off and then try to eat it! i have no water on the leaf when they do start trying to eat them. Do they need something to munch on or what?
Re: RE: my anoles are eating my plastic plants!!! I have never heard of an Anole doing this. I have lots of live plants in my enclosures and none of the plants have ever been attacked. Maybe someone else can help, sorry...
RE: Re: RE: my anoles are eating my plastic plants!!! its not just one all 5 of my anoles are doing it . My boy stared to do it frist and i tryed to stop him but he would just do it agen and soon after the girl anoles stared to pull off the leafs and try to eat them?
RE: Re: RE: my anoles are eating my plastic plants!!! maybe if you give us a run down of the tank it might help - size, temps, etc
RE: Re: RE: my anoles are eating my plastic plants!!! Are they just eating one type of your plants? If they are just taken out the kind of plants that they are eating.
RE: Re: RE: my anoles are eating my plastic plants!!! its a 75 gallon tank the temp is 85.
