I had two Jackson's chameleons but the other day the female died trying to give birth and since then the male hasn't eaten and the only time he drinks is when I open his mouth and put water in it. I'm not sure if this is because he lost his mate does anyone have suggestions?
Have you taken him to see a vet at all? That would probably be a good idea. The female may have been gravid, but they may be purely a coincidence in her death. She may have died due to some other cause - that your male is now experiencing. I'm sorry for your loss, and good luck with the other guy
