This is a pic of the female Great Basin Gopher caught out in W. Lancaster that I gave to my wife as a Christmas present. She's last year's hatch and she's already 2.5'!

Thanx. I love our native CA Gophers, even if they do come w/ a little attitude.

She has her good days and her bad days. Most pits are great, but of the ones that never seem to calm down or are just plain mean snakes (remember they're alot like people), the majority of them seem to be female.
