I've just set up a cricket breeding system that the petstore guy told me about, and was wondering if you guys think it will work.

A ten gallon aquarium, 2 inches of topsoil, with grass seeds planted in it. I have egg cartons for the crickets to hide in, and I feed them cricket food from the petstore as well as vegetable scraps. The idea is that the crickets will eat the grass, and the grass will digest the cricket droppings. The grass/soil will also be the place the eggs are. I keep it in front of a window, and live in South Louisiana, so the humidity stays pretty high and it's warm.

Also, I mist the sides of the glass and the crickets come running and drink the water off the side. They also have the water gel, but don't like it much.

Thanks for any ideas you might have
