I am new to anoles. I pretty much bought a tank and made a really nice set up for decoration. But I got them home and when i first put them in the tank they were a very pretty bright green color. And now one is green and two of them are a light shade of brown and one is almost black. I dont know what happend to them and I thought maybe they were cold but they have a warm tank and im kind worried that my anoles are sick. Do they need time to adjust to their new tank ?
If there are no problems within your husbandry, sometimes anoles change colour for no particular reason whatsoever. It's better to eliminate poor husbandry first though, along with stress problems or illness .
