I guess you misunderstood. Even if a uvb light stop producing uvb, you will never know, its not something that you can physically see, unless you have a meter. The problem with those thin zilla bulbs, that the micro watts of uvb output is incredibly low.
awwwww I guess I did misunstand you .... but in about 3-4 weeks, it doesn't matter .... I have my new enclosures with adjustable/movable light fixtures and I'll get the mega-ray or power sun MVB/UVB bulbs. For now, I'll have to use what I have. All four of them are eating tons, fat as heck and shedding. Doug says thats a good sign that they are healthy and growing.
