My boyfriend and I recently bought an adult male red Crestie. He seems to stayed fired up when he is in tank, but turns normal when we take him out.
We don't know if this is normal or not. And if there is anything that we need to do.
We mist the tank about 8 to 10 hours and feed him every 24 hours.
Other than he seems healthy, he is very well hand trained.

Welcome to the boards = )

Its probably nothing to be concerned about. Sometimes duller coloration reflects some level of stress (which may explain the change when you take him out) but if your gecko is eating regularly and otherwise behaving normally and appears healthy... I wouldn't be concerned. Probably just normal coloration being expressed.
