New red Tail

    the saddles are the darker patterns running along the legenth of the body. i count 22-23 (including the one on the head) up to where i think the vent is making this guy a probable bci. saddle counts are not the only way to difinitivley ID a BCC from a BCI.

    size, sexing probes (if your snake still small), and a few others are ways to accurately sex your snake.

    is that a red tail ? i see 23 saddles... maybe my eyes are decieving me but i thought BCI's had less than 20, or is it a BCC with a red tail :S

    No. BCC have less than 22. BCI's are opposite.

    We Have a 13ft berm and he is a big moose!! A love, but sometimes he doesn't know his own size, he thinks curtian rods make good perches while he takes a bath. It was soooo cute!! i will have to post pictures when i learn how!!
