We now have 6 Nicaraguan Boas. 5 girls and 1 boy. These guys are just so cool! It will be 2 or 3 years before they are ready to breed for us, but that is good as it gives us a chance to learn how to read them better. Don't get me wrong as care sheets are great for getting the basics of animal husbandry down and no one should ever get a new snake without finding out how to care for it through care sheets or an experienced keeper first. But actually caring for a new species of snake is when the real learning starts!
