Hi, I've recently received an Ornate Monitor hatchling and have some questions for any experts. So, first, how much do Ornate's usually sleep? Mine keeps it's sleeping to a majority of the day and night, I have RARELY seen it bask. It usually wedges itself between the hide I've provided the side of the enclosure which is a temporary plastic tub for the first week while I get my 60 gallon tank ready. I did a lot of research before buying the animal of course, but found nothing about their sleeping habits. Another question I have is, if there are any ways to sex a baby monitor as early as a few weeks/a month old? Any help will be appreciated, and I'll be glad to accept any taming, or housing tips and help. Thanks.
