I remember one post a while back with picks of some venomous snakes that he kept. But that is the only person I have heard of that has any, and he keeps his for making anti-venom.
My rule of thumb is, nothing large enough to strangle my child (my python is still a baby and my son is growing faster) and certainly nothing that will poison him.
That is a good rule. I think some poisonous snakes are pretty but I'm not about to keep something in my house that can kill me very easily.
See I think that ROCKS!!!! Beautiful snake!!! I think if you're gonna keep a hot snake you better know what you're doing and follow the rules and realize you play a huge part in everyone else's ability to keep reptiles, venemous or not. Again, awesome snake!!
I don't think it's a matter of balls it's a matter of knowledge, experience and responsibility. LOL, not saying you don't have those. You know what I mean.
hey Ravnos, long time no see. When I get a new camera (I just traded mine for an albino BCI), I'll have to get some shots of Jeremy's new babies. Black pakistani cobras (one of 'em is patternless) and 3 lil Malay king cobras.
wow ravnos, the only pic so far on this thread! awsome snake! what is it again? lol does anyone have any gaboon vipers? ill be waitin a few years before tryin ta get one, but i cant wait!
Well, these aren't my animals, but here's a couple of my older venomous shots.. 8ft female King Cobra Hypomelanistic Western Diamondback Rattlesnake
wideglide, i think the cobra looks cool but as for keeping 1 i have a pic of a cobra in a critter keeper lol saves money on food and no heating it aswell
