Pic of an Anole?

    just remembered i took this photo last year when i was traveling through the deep south. i reckon it's an anole but thought i'd find out from the experts - coming from a country where you never see wild reptiles i was so stoked about this one running across my path!

    Aww cutie!! Yeh Jill, it is an anole, aw, must have escaped from someones house, or maybe transit. Looks pretty healthy though for an escapee, i'm sure he's loving the english flies lol.

    lol i meant the deep south (of the us) lol... he was in savannah, GA

    LOL, i live in the "deap" south and we see the running wild all the time. Just the other day i found one near my pool, he was very fat and i really scared him, i put him down where i knew he would be safe, came back half a hour later breathing hard but still in the same place i left him. I wanted to keep him but i dont want a wild animal, but i still named him thumpy

    i loved touring round there - georgia was my favourite but i loved south carolina too. that little guy appeared one day when i was walking around savannah one morning. as i say, for someone who doesnt get that at home its cool
