Moderators are not just very experienced members of the site, but there are also many behind the scenes tasks which they have to deal with. Forum etiquette is a big part of how mods are chosen, and those asking or hinting to be moderators generally aren't the ones we choose.

Great idea sorting this competition out though!

Its no biggy, just be aware that when we choose moderators we need to do so carefully. Moderators have access have to the whole site, plus lots of other things too, so trust is a big issue, the process of choosing them is not easy. Some people may be the most knowledgeable people here but just wouldn't make a good mod. When does this contest open for voting then?

 

The last entry date is the 18th April
Voting starts 19th April
Last day to vote is 1st May

Winner announced 2nd or 3rd May

 

Woops, should've read the first post. I'll pin this for now, we'll use it as a kind of trial run as to see how to structure the official photo contest.
